GØLDEN ACADEMY
LEARN WITH HEIDI
I remember the first time I searched for information about permanent makeup.
Microblading was all the rage, and I began my journey with a PhiBrows course. What I later learned was that in New Jersey, I could not legally perform microblading without first completing the required training, apprenticeship and certification.
At the time, there weren’t many options for learning both the fundamentals of cosmetic tattooing and understanding the regulations surrounding the industry.
Today, training programs are everywhere.
The important question is: Will your training actually prepare you for a career?

REALITY OF THIS INDUSTRY
Do not be fooled by advertisements promising that you’ll make a quarter of a million dollars in your first or even second year.
Don’t assume you’ll graduate from a course and immediately have a full schedule of clients paying $600 per service.
Building that kind of business takes time.
Clients want experience. And when you’re first starting out, you may find yourself working for considerably less while working very hard to find clients, build a portfolio, gain experience and
establish your reputation.
I’m telling you this for one reason: I want to set you up for success.
A career in micropigmentation can be incredibly rewarding. But success requires serious preparation — financially, technically and professionally. It will not be handed to you. It cannot be
bought. It takes time.
You have to practice. You have to build your skill set. You have to build a clientele. You have to continue learning. And most importantly, you have to be determined.
If you’re ready and committed to building a real career that lasts long after your first year, you’ve come to the right place.

100-HOUR FUNDAMENTALS TRAINING
Our program is AAM Platinum Certified and follows the guidelines established by the American Academy of Micropigmentation for fundamental permanent makeup education.
Training is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in cosmetic tattooing while emphasizing safety, technique, professionalism and an understanding of the regulations surrounding our industry.
We operate in accordance with applicable New Jersey state and local health requirements.
THIS ISN’T A GET-RICH-QUICK COURSE
IT’S THE BEGINNING OF LEARNING A CRAFT
Permanent makeup can become an incredible career. But the certificate isn’t what makes you an artist. What you do after you earn it does.
If you’re ready to learn, practice, work and build something that lasts, I’d love to teach you.
